Thanks to my computer is all fixed now and also thanks to him building in antispike shielding there was absolutely no damage to the hard disks from when the last PSU failed. It should be explained at this point for those of you who don't know that built me the computer in the first place. Its a nice all rounder, not specifically designed for anything but it is rugged and basically me-proof.

16 GB RAM
2 x 1Tb Maxtor Diamondmax 22 sata2 drives
1 x floppy disk drive
1 x blueray writer (writes dvd's too - ignore me I'm not that comp savvy)
Nvidia 9800GT PCI-E 112 core 512mb

oh and a mega hard casing and keyb, the monitors are two sony flats.

Well as stated already I'm locked and cocked and later today I'll be ready to rock just as soon as I've installed and registered my 3ds max.
